Hi! My name is Igor Popeliukh. I’m a film director and dp based in Tbilisi, Georgia.
I was born and raised in the heart of Siberia, a place that shaped my vision and way of seeing the world.I never went to film school, instead I learned filmmaking through the lens of snowboarding and skateboarding culture. Like many filmmakers who started by capturing their friends and chasing movement, I discovered storytelling through motion and instinct. One of my biggest inspirations is Academy Award–winning director Spike Jonze.
Shooting and producing my own snowboard and cycling documentaries gave me both technical precision and an eye for authentic emotion later I brought into my commercial work.
available worldwide.
